This may include probing to understand the client’s current processes, challenges, and providing our software as a needs-based solution. Key activities include lead generation, prospecting sale presentations, product demonstrations, contracting, closing accounts, and monitoring competition.

  • Target new business opportunities through measurable sales activity
  • Attend select tradeshows, conferences, internal events and other marketing activities
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership, Sales Operations Analyst, and Marketing to identify and move leads through the selling process
  • Determine prospect’s needs, buying criteria, budget and timeline while positioning Therigy as a credible resource to meet their needs
  • Determine and engage both the primary user(s) as well as decision maker(s) within each prospective client account
  • Manage data for prospective clients in Salesforce.com, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and pertinent documents are attached
  • Overcome objections; effectively analyze problems, determine appropriate action for solutions, and exhibit timely and decisive action
  • Present software solutions (via web presentation), generate proposals, quotes and contracts, and close sales
  • Achieve monthly quotas of selling and outreach to new Therigy customers
  • Collaborate with internal resources to transition closed contracts to implementation activities
  • Represent the Therigy brand with integrity through an engaging personality, exceptional customer service, and accurate representation of the product features and its benefits
  • Maintain technical and industry knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications
  • Enhance selling efforts by understanding competitor products’ strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
  • Maintain in-depth working knowledge of Therigy systems, proactively learning new features and enhancements
  • Provide feedback to the company regarding customer concerns and/or customer-requested features and enhancements
  • Work flexible schedules to accommodate project deadlines, tradeshows, or marketing events and occasional travel (up to 30%)
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; degree preferred
  • Track record of success in a sales-driven environment
  • Confident, articulate, and able to think on your feet
  • Exceptional presentation, communication (written and verbal), and inter-personal skills
  • Ability to prospect, create rapport, qualify and establish need, build value, overcome objections, and close opportunities
  • Specialty Pharmacy and/or Healthcare experience preferred; aptitude for acquiring strong industry knowledge
  • A persistent, driven, sales-oriented spirit
  • Ability to work under pressure, organize and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical and business concepts and express them in clear language
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Experience with business-to-business sales
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with CRM software; Salesforce.com preferred

Position reports to: Director of Technology Sales

ADA: The position requires being seated in front of a computer and utilizing a keyboard in excess of eight hours per day. May require lifting in excess of ten (10) pounds. Requires travel up to 30%.
