  • Maintain familiarity with accreditation standards and with changes in those standards; communicate changes to leadership & business units
  • Oversee accreditation submissions
  • Maintain accreditation submission tools
  • Responsible for understanding status of accreditation readiness and risks
  • Maintain detailed accreditation reports regarding each element of the accreditation standards and track status of all accreditation reports
  • Coordinate onsite survey processes with regulatory agencies, both announced and unannounced
  • Coordinate investigations in cited complaints and/or deficiencies and respond to regulatory agencies with required plan of action
  • Coordinate the measurement and analysis of data to ensure that improvements in process for regulatory compliance have been sustained over time
  • Works closely with Program Managers and supervisors to assure all required documentation is obtained and kept up to date on designated electronic storage sites
  • Assist in researching pharmacy workflow enhancements, to gain increased efficiencies/capabilities for fulfillment of specialty pharmaceuticals, shipping logistics and related solutions including cold chain
  • Assist with Regulatory/Compliance expertise in pharmacy practice 795 & 797 compliance and DUR practices
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; degree preferred
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in accreditation and quality functions.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in project/program management and leadership
  • Knowledge of National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Accreditation requirements; prior experience with NCQA surveys preferred
  • HACP certification is preferred
  • Experience supporting contracting, program development, implementation, execution and on-going management of operational programs
  • Confident, articulate, and able to think on your feet
  • Exceptional presentation, communication (written and verbal), and inter-personal skills
  • Specialty Pharmacy and/or Healthcare experience preferred; aptitude for acquiring strong industry knowledge
  • Ability to work under pressure, organize and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical and business concepts and express them in clear language
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint);
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in facilitating the performance of cross-functional teams

ADA:  The position requires being seated in front of a computer and utilizing a keyboard in excess of eight hours per day.  May require lifting in excess of ten (10) pounds.
